Mahmoud El-Tahan is the Director of Talent Acquisition at Capgemini Egypt, leading the company’s talent acquisition strategy, recruitment operations, and hiring transformation initiatives. With nearly 20 years of experience across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, he has built and scaled high-performing recruitment organizations, helping global companies attract, engage, and retain top talent in highly competitive markets.

Since joining Capgemini in 2023, El-Tahan has been responsible for shaping talent acquisition strategy, driving recruitment automation, optimizing hiring processes, and strengthening talent delivery capabilities. His focus on operational excellence and data-driven decision-making has helped position talent acquisition as a strategic business function that supports long-term growth and workforce transformation.

Prior to Capgemini, El-Tahan served as Regional Leader for the Middle East at Amazon, where he oversaw hiring strategy and workforce planning across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Jordan. He led large-scale recruitment operations, established regional talent pipelines, drove continuous improvement initiatives, and partnered closely with business leaders to support rapid expansion across the region.

Earlier in his career, El-Tahan held several senior leadership positions at Concentrix, including Associate Director and Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition for EMEA. During this period, he led multicultural recruitment teams, managed talent acquisition operations across multiple countries, and supported large-scale business growth through innovative sourcing, workforce planning, and recruitment transformation initiatives.

Before Concentrix, he spent over a decade with Raya CX, progressing through a series of leadership roles in recruitment and human resources. As Regional HR Manager for EMEA, he oversaw HR operations across Egypt, the UAE, and Poland, while driving workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and people initiatives across the region.

Known for his expertise in talent strategy, executive hiring, recruitment technology, talent market mapping, and organizational scaling, El-Tahan is passionate about building sustainable talent ecosystems that balance business performance with exceptional candidate and employee experiences.
